While downloading e-mail, I repeatedly get spool error messages and it locks Eudora until I check the OK box. The message seems to be downloaded slowly. It has been happening every 20 or so messages, and always with spam, and even though there is no attachment. Message:
Could not open C:EudoraSpoolml7art (my default profile)….Â
Cause: No such file or directory exists (2)
I need a solution.

Problem in downloading my e-mail
Hi Abraham, there is a message in the mailbox that the file does not exist, it could be that the file is no longer there, or the file name might be screwed up in Eudora, and it is being transmitted to the other program incorrectly. It might be the setting of the other program is incorrect. Try to check the file structure of file where Eudora was installed, using chkdsh and we will see if that is the problem. Click start>all programs> accessories >run>"cmd"> OK and then type chkdsk on your C:/  and say yes if you are ask to check and then reboot.
Sometimes antivirus is the cause of the problem. The antivirus is quarantining attachments or embedded images that are infected with virus. Antivirus will removed the infected file and put them with a proper holder, and every placeholder have the same name and it is numbered by antivirus, once it reaches to its' maximum level, that error will occur. So, open all the files and remove all files and your embedded folder files that refer to your Antivirus . And then reopen Eudora again and check mails.Â
