Hi techyv,

A problem with driver gamepad USB to win 7. How to check if the driver gamepad USB or joystick is properly installed in your computer? It seems like I cannot use the gamepad for some reasons, it wasn’t detected by the computer port. This is more on troubleshooting, I need your step by step instruction to be followed.

A problem with driver gamepad USB for win 7.

Hello Trevor, 

Dear you are having problem with your device and driver. You have to check all these things very carefully to resolve your problem. 

 

• First open your device manager.
• To open it type "devmgmt.msc" in RUN or simply right click on "My Computer" icon and choose property then choose device manager in property tab. 
• In device manager find your gamepad if it is installed or some times due to unsupported driver this will show a yellow question mark on your device.
• If there is a yellow question mark on your device then you need to update its driver. 
• If no question mark is available then check your device, connecting wire.
• Try to check it on some other computer. 
• Sometimes new devices no work due to cable problem.
