Problem with editing of Songs in iTouch via iTunes

I have just synced my songs with my new iTouch via iTunes, and I can’t change the song information. 

I also cannot delete songs from the Library. 

Please help!

Problem with editing of Songs in iTouch via iTunes

I recommend you update your iTunes to the latest version to receive updates, fixes and support for your device. Make it a habit to change the song information BEFORE you transfer and/or sync your songs to your iTouch device.

There should be no problems changing song information too even if your songs are already in your iTouch device. To change song information, just right click any song and choose Get Info. This window will appear.

Then choose info tab and edit song information. You could also add or edit lyrics, add artworks and many more.

Deleting in your library should be of no problem too. Just right click the song you want to remove and choose delete. Choose remove and it should be removed from your iTunes library.

Just to be clear, the song is just removed from the library, not deleted from your Hard Disk. Hope this helps.
