Today's magnificence which occurs in the recent most up-to-date issuance 7.0.2 of the IBM Lotus Notes client (notably to be switched by the pristinely updated Notes 8 client constructed on the IBM Expeditor/Eclipse architecture).

An error was encountered while opening a window.

But this is all that you expressed. Nothing further, nothing less!

As a result, I received a problem notice. The error came across whilst commencing a window. What a stroke of genius of an explanation! Which layout team prepared this? Is there any way that you can further explain this problem so I can resolve the matter?

If you are already using Lotus Notes before and this is the first time you encounter this error, try restarting the computer then open it again. The error could only be a fluke. If your system has no other problem the application should work next time you open it. But if it doesn’t, check if the version you are using is compatible with your operating system. A possible operating system upgrade would also trigger this problem. But if you didn’t change anything in your machine when the error happened, try doing another clean installation of the program. Uninstall Lotus Notes 7.0.2 then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Then install Lotus Notes again and see if it’ll work.

If it doesn’t, try upgrading it to the latest version. Lotus Notes 8.5.3 is already available, download the trial version. It has a 90-day trial period and you will surely have plenty of time to evaluate it.
