Problem Encountered with Internet Explorer

The first time I upgraded my Internet Explorer to IE 9 it looks great, but later I found difficulty of it's system because when I changed the setting of my computer there something went wrong.

I found out that there is no restoring default sites once I accidentally close it.

Do you think I can recover it or there something wrong with my setting? Please help me I want to fix it right away.

Problem Encountered with Internet Explorer

Hi Karamel,

I understand that you are having some difficulties with the new version of IE which is IE9. Let me help you with that.

 

I'm not really sure on what you mean on "restoring default sites."

 

If you are referring to homepage/s or browsing histories:

 

To set a homepage/s:

 

1.Click the word "Tools" located on the upper left corner of the browser then choose "Internet Options".

 

2. A pop-up screen will appear named Internet Options. Click on "General" Tab.

 

Find the word "Home Page"and in the box type in the desired homepage. 

 

For example:

https://www.yahoo.com/

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl and so on..

 

3. Click on "Apply" button and then click "OK".

 

To Check Browsing Histories:

 

1. Follow step 1 and then find the word "Browsing History" under General Tab. Click on Settings.

 

Please choose the appropriate setting for your convenience.

 

2. Click on "Apply" button and then click "OK".

 

With regard to your question if you can recover it?

 

The answer is NO. You need to start from scratch.
