Yesterday morning I downloaded Songbird 1.9.3, a multimedia application for my PC with Windows Vista from www.filehippo.com. I am trying to install it but my computer is not accessing me to install it and it blocked the application automatically. Any Help?
Thanks

Hi, it is easily explain to you Windows Vista will restricted some Apps to use and perform it's natural figure.you have to choice only Windows Vista contains software. You can use this applications others version to vista. If it will not work then you can install Windows 7 for special consideration. Some one tells Windows vista is worked as animated version. therefore it support some less high contains soft. If you have the proper registration file then it must be supported i think so. Hi,
Often times,  the file you are trying to download might not be supported by Vista.
Try installing it on window XP, if the problem persist, then you can try to pay for the apps you must have fifty fifty chance success.
Other way round this problem is that you should also try to download the program from your system rather that downloading directly from the internet. This you can do by positioning your cursor on the link that shows a download and click your right mouse.
From the rows of menus, select save file as, another window will open to direct you to the location that your file must be save, the default location is always (my document folder), this you can change at will.
Then, the file will start saving on your selected folder. Go to the folder and download your files from there.
Good luck.

Well, Songbird is compatible to any version of Windows OS 32 or 64 bit.
I am using windows 7 32 bit version and it goes well for me and even try to install it on windows XP so I guess OS compatibility is not the issue to your problem.
First let me ask you if you have any firewall or anti virus installed in you system?
If you have, please try to disable first your firewall or anti virus before proceeding to installation.
Because there are times that anti virus or firewall softwares tend to block or ask for notifications from users to insure the safety of the application you are about to install.
If this doesn't work maybe there is something messing up your system that stops the process of your installation.
