Problem installing ICC profile for Hot Press Bright

Hello to all,

I am facing a problem in installing the ICC forum for Epson hot press bright white.

I have successfully downloaded the driver from the following website:

when I start the installation, I get the following error on my screen:

 

SP3880 Hot Press Bright White

Error creating folder.

1008:9,-5000 Access denied error

                                              OK

I have tried this installation on two different systems which have the most recent version of OSX. Both systems have admin accounts and I also tried created new accounts but it ended up with the same results.

Your ideas and suggestions are required to solve the query.

Hello Alisonnlopez, Its looks like a permission issue either the folder you are trying to install to. its usually happened if you are not logged in or register you account under the administrator account and trying to install something in the system or library folders. Some installers are coded to ask for an administrator name and password, a little more elegant solution than this.

If the problem still there then please take the another way of me here is it,

You have to check the "Photoshop Manages Colors" box. You will then see a drop-down list of your paper/printer profiles. Pick the one that matches the paper you will be using and then set the Epson recommended paper type in the printer driver. Be sure to also check "No color management" in the printer driver.
