Problem in Installing SP1 on Windows 7

Hello, I have Windows 7 Premium 64bit and I’m trying to install SP 1, but each time I get the error code: Installation was not successful Element Not Found Error: ERROR_NOT_FOUND(0x80070490). Can you help me with this? Thanks.

Problem in Installing SP1 on Windows 7

Hello there… Are you using a licensed version of Windows 7 or an illegal version? Because If you are using an illegal software then this message will appear during validation process.

Problem in Installing SP1 on Windows 7

Here are some possible solutions for installation of sp1 on windows 7 premium 64 bit

1. First of all, make sure that you have downloaded a fresh and clean copy of SP1 64bit from microsoft website

2. Also make sure, that you have latest drivers installed for your chipset and wired/wireless network

3. Further more, disconnect any additional device attached to your laptop or computer

4. Finally reboot your computer and install it again.
