I met an error while I was about to load PowerPoint.
The error stated: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Thinking about the error, I removed and added the PowerPoint again.
But still the same error existed.
I tried to reboot my computer, but nothing has changed with the error.
I need some help.
Error 0xc0150002 on initializing PowerPoint
Do first install Microsoft Office on Windows XP Service Pack 1 and update it.
From Windows XP Home version to Professional version.
From there, update your Operating System and Office online.
If already up to date, visit Microsoft Office site and reapply Office updates.
Download the correct visual C++ redistributable package for your OS from Microsoft's official website and install it.
Hope this could help you.
Try to open your PowerPoint now.
Error 0xc0150002 on initializing PowerPoint
Dear friend, I understand while reading your problem that you experienced PowerPoint loading problem.
This occurs when you try to load PowerPoint. This type of error appears when you try to open any password protected PowerPoint version such as 2007, 2003, 2002 in any earlier version of PowerPoint.
The main cause is any password protected presentation slide cannot be opened in earlier version of any PowerPoint.
Now follow these steps for PowerPoint 2007:
-
Open presentation and type password and click OK
-
click MS Office, go to prepare , click Encrypt document
-
From the Encrypt document box, you just delete all the text in the password box
-
Click OK to finish.
Thanks.
