Problem with my iOS upgrade

Hello all,

I was excited about the new iOS 5 update, but I had a hell of a time trying to get it with the excruciatingly slow download speeds available. Then, I had to restart my download, since the connection timed out. Just when I thought I was done, I started receiving error messages. I have tried to update my iPhone so many times today that I can’t keep track anymore, but I still keep receiving the same error message: “The ‘iPhone’ could not be restored. An unknown error has occurred.”

What is the problem with my iOS upgrade? Can anyone guide me?

Problem with my iOS upgrade

Good day!

It is possible that the problem is caused by restarting the download. There are some softwares that cause issues when disrupted. To solve this, you can restore the latest backup that you have on your computer. Refer to the image below for restoration instruction, from there choose "restore from back up". After restoring, you may now update your iOS again.
