Problem in my USB mass storage

Hi experts,

Suddenly my the data transfer speed of my USB mass storage has reduced. I tried to fix it through formatting the device. But still slow.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Problem in my USB mass storage

 

Hi Brayen Jones ,

Please try using this method to increase the data transfer speed of your USB drive. Open My computer and right click on the USB drive. Then click on properties. After that select the Hardware tab. Under the all disk drives section select your pen drive and click properties button. Under the General tab, click on Change Settings button.

Select policies tab and check the Better Performance checkbox. Now your Pen drive data transfer speed will be increased in considerable amount.

Hi Brayen Jones,

Did you try the formatting process by changing the values of the options? There are two changeable options. Change the values and format the device. I hope it will speed up your device.

Another way is defragmentation of your device and error checking. But it is not so much successful for increasing data transfer rate of your USB storage.
