Problem with My Visual Studio express installation

Why is my visual studio expressing for desktop installation taking longer than expected without finishing installation? Whenever I try to install this visual studio software, the installation will go on for a longer time until I force shut my system. The worrying thing about the installation is that, anytime I start the installation, the system usually stops working and hang.

Problem with My Visual Studio express installation

You just told about the Visual studio but not the version of it or 

the source where you have got it from and also check whether your

computer's configuration is compatible with software or not. Usually

Visual studio takes 3-4 hours( with 2mbps speed)installation as it 

has to download a package from online and it needs a lot of patience 

but you can track the extent of installation on the screen. This is 

all about installation.

If your problem is with system hanging–With some systems even if you 

download from the official Microsoft website it hangs every time at

a certain point-I am also a victim of this and this is because there's

a problem with the installer itself. I suggest you to follow this

#Extract original ISO( don't go with mounting).

#When you see the installation is stuck for a larger time go with 

a quick restart but don't force shutdown.

#After the restart the installation will resume from the last stuck
