Problem occur when upgrading Nero 7 to 8

I have bought a Sony DVD burner functioned by the Nero 7 Trial.

I upgrade it with Nero 8 Ultra Edition online without delaying and installed it. After that trying to using any function of the program with Start Smart,

I flushed with the following error message:

This application has failed to start because GCCore. dll was not found.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Give me a solution please.

Try uninstalling the Nero version you have installed, go to windows, start, control panel, add/remove programs and click Nero uninstall the program.

After uninstalling try reinstalling the Nero 8 you have downloaded and tried running the program again..

If program is no error then it is okay…. if not try this solution, if the error  still exists do the following

  • Download the GCCore.dll. this a zip file.
  • You must have zip file archiver like winzip.. if you don't have please download the winzip program..
  • If you have, unzipped the file to the Nero folder, go to start, my computer, click drive C, Program Files and look for point to the Nero folder. After the doing the procedure ..
  • Run the application again…

That's it. I was so dumb to forgot to uninstall Nero 7.

I uninstalled Nero 7 and I successfully upgraded it.
