Hi, every one

I am a Linux user.

Recently I have got a file with extension .

Vhd which I have never seen before.

Problem is that I cannot open it. What sort of file is it.

And how can I open it ?

Problem opening of a file with extension Vhd

Virtual hard disk file or VHD file is actually a virtual image file which is developed by Microsoft. It is used for virtual machine disk.

Here are the steps that help you to open that file format:

1. You can open VHD file by Gizmo central , just search Google & download it from there, may be 8-10 MB in size.

2. Then install the setup of Gizmo Central & reboot your PC.

3. Now you are allowed to access your Virtual Hard Disk file with Gizmo Central tool.
