Hi the problem you mentioned can be solved by:

1. Check you are properly connected to a internet network.

2. If OK and if the problem exists then,

3. Search for mdnsresponder.exe in the task manager and uninstall it. You can Google it for how to uninstall.

4. In the internet explorer, go to tools, select internet options, then connections tab, go to LAN settings and see that no boxes are unchecked.

5. If the problem does not go set a static IP address for the LAN adapter setting using 208.67.222.222 for preferred DNS server.

6. Then try to open a page.

7. If it does not work, or work very slowly, then check the Firewall settings of your Anti virus program. See if it is set to default or not. If the security level is selected high, then select to normal or medium as default.

Hope this will fix the problem.

That should not happen if the web browser you installed is compatible with the operating system. If you installed the operating system yourself, make sure it is installed properly without any errors during the installation. If an error was encountered during the installation and you just ignored it and continued with the installation, it can have a bad effect on the system.

The usual problem you might encounter during the installation of Microsoft Windows is related to the hardware because the system being installed needs to be compatible with the hardware. If you didn’t encounter any problem during the installation of Microsoft Windows, check if there is a problem with the hard drive’s file system. A problem on the file system can make programs unstable and sometimes freezes the system.

Try using PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Use 7-Zip to unpack the file. Use the supplied password to unpack. Download 7-Zip from 7-Zip File Archiver if you don’t have it. Download and install it on your computer. Once installed, start PC Tools then go to Recovery tab and click Repair Drives.

Under Select Drive Operation, select Surface Scan and check “Perform on reboot”. Select drive C on the list of drives and click Start and then Continue.

Restart your computer and it should start testing your drive for errors.
