I clicked the apply now button on live update so I could get the build 113 and there was an error box saying 'error applying patch'. After I restart the patch the installation was ok.
I was just curious if this happened to anybody else, did you get a clean install or did you get the same error dialogue box I did? See screenshot below.
Error Applying Patch: Error shutting down drivers, please reboot to apply patch and re-enable protection.

Problem in Updating My Norton Internet Security
Hello Dear,
You need to know that it is better not to update from build 106. Please at first uninstall it. Now you have to download the build 110 from the internet. Install this and then go for the 113.
Here are the instructions:
1. Run an update (live). If appears some recommended downloads, do it.
2. When it appears that live update apply to patches, then apply it for the new build.
3. Remember that, you must have build 20.0.0.110. Otherwise, you will be not able to get 20.0.0.113
4. You can access this information from Supportabout location.
Thanks for your time.
Problem in Updating My Norton Internet Security
Hi Mr. Randy Baier,
Dear I saw your error and got the answer from it.
In fact this update will download the latest updates of Antivirus in the shape of patch file. And you are trying to install this patch file without closing the antivirus.
It is must to close the software first before it gets updated.
Please close your Antivirus program first, then go to the download directory and install the patch of updated files.
I hope this time you will succeed.
Thanks and enjoy.
