Problem using Bezier Curve Tool with iWork6

I am facing a problem with Keynote and Pages from iWork 6. I am having problem using the manual shape tool such as Bezier curve. For adjusting the points on curve, I have to reduce the control points of the curve. But sometimes the tabs are getting too close and flip off to out of the page and the program gets hang. Please let me know, if anybody already experienced the same thing and found the solution. Please help me to get out of this problem. Thanks in advance for all the support.

Problem using Bezier Curve Tool with iWork6

To help you with using the Bezier Curve Tool, try the following:

• You will need to begin at the starting point of your curve by clicking on it.
• And then you will need to go to the end point of your curve and then click on it again.
• And thereafter, while holding the left mouse button down, you will need to move off the end point in the direction that is opposite to the one that you want your curve to approach the button.

It may look like a tough practice but you will need to practice a  lot and eventually you will get used to it. You can also look for tutorials online that explain the same or offer a different approach and make use of them.
