Hi all,
When I am trying to utilize a feature in WinDVD 2, I get a problem. The program stops after showing me a error message
"WCreator.exe – Application Error The instruction at 0x73dd11c7 referenced at 0x00000004. The memory could not be read"
Already, this program was on my PC. Though I found it, I am not able to reload it.
What should I do now? Please help me.
Thanks a lot.
Problem while trying to utilize a feature in WinDVD 2
Greetings User,
You could try reinstalling the software.
If you do not have the option. I would go into your Control Panel, select Display, and click advanced in the bottom right corner, above ok, cancel, apply.
What we are going to do in Advanced Settings is turn down the acceleration on your graphics card.
Choose Adapter tab and go to List All Modes and select a mode that is lower than your current one. Should clear this issue up.
Cheers.

Wcreator.exe is a windows file belonging to WinDVD created by Intervideo . The file is usually found in Local Disc(C:)Program Filesintervideowcreator2 folder. If you find it anywhere else, please note that wcreator.exe could be virus, Trojan, worm or spyware. The location of the file can vary in different Windows version or languages. This is an executable file. You can find it running in Task Manager as the process wcreator.exe.
To fix your problem turn down the hardware acceleration on your video card.
Control Panel>Display>Advanced.
That should fix your problem.Thank’s……..

If the program works before then that could be a problem with the installation. Try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select WinDVD among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds.
This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install WinDVD back. I know this is not free software but if the problem continues, might as well upgrade to a higher version or to the latest. Go to Corel WinDVD Pro to check the latest.
The latest version at the moment, WinDVD Pro 12, supports 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
