Problem With Activating The Windows, And It Throws 0xc004d401 Error

The 0xc004d401 error is caused by the validation and authentication of the computer. The error message displays ‘Error 0xc004d401: The security processor reported system file mismatch error’ or ‘Error 0xc004d401: unrecognized error.’ Corrupt antivirus/ security programs, corrupt system files, and corrupt registry settings are the reasons for the error. The steps to fix the 0xc004d401 error code are as follows:

Step 1: Disable or uninstall the Antivirus / Security Software.

Step 2: Perform A System Restore.

Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.
This will restore the system and make it perfect for use.
