I use the Windows 7 operating system. I am unable to start any program on my computer. When I start a program, I get an error message saying, “ The program cannot be started because msvcr90 dll is missing or cannot be found”. How am I supposed to remove this error?
Problem With Msvcr90 Dll File Cannot Start Any Program
The msvcr90.dll is a DLL file associated with the Microsoft Runtime Library. This is a very important file and is considered to be system essential. A lot of programs rely on this runtime library and therefore the computer fails to open any program because msvcr90.dll is missing.
To solve this error, try and check the version of Microsoft Visual Studio that is installed on your computer. If it is not the latest version, try and upgrade it. If it is the latest version then, uninstall and reinstall Visual Studio. Check if this solves the problem. If this approach fails, download the msvcr90.dll file from the internet and place it in the systems folder of your computer. Restart your computer and the problem should be gone.
