Techyv,
I am facing problems in iPhone 4 Wi-Fi. It is working but I have to turn off and again turn it on. It is saying that it is already connected with the router but there is no internet connectivity.   I have to reset the WiFi by turning it  off and turning it on.
It is happening all the time, when I am closing the phone and when  using it the next time. Previously I was using iPhone 3G and it was working properly with the router. I have tried resetting the router and also changed the settings to factory settings, but there was no change in the result. I have also tried to  reset the iPhone settings and network settings. I am using the Belkin N+ router.
Please give me the solution. Thanks in advance.
Brett
Problems in iPhone 4 Wi-Fi
Hello Brett, I want to ask you a question? Did you under go to jailbreak process for your iPhone 4? If you undergo to that process maybe you are facing problems which the consenquences of jailbreaking your iPhone. You said you already reset your iPhone to factory settings. even if you already reset to factory settings, this will not guarantee you that your iPhone will be back to fresh and good condition since if you jailbreak your iphone. But if you not jailbreak your iPhone, the best thing to do is to go to the store where you bought your iPhone, Maybe they can help you to fix your iPhone problem.

Since you changed the iphone's settings to the factory settings, then that means that the network settings that you had set for the iphone to use with the router that you are using were removed, and therefore you will need to configure them again. Especially if you are using static settings for the iphone, you will need to make sure that you have configured them properly because any slight mistake in the DNS server settings, the gateways settings and the subnet masks will cause the iphone to refuse to connect to the internet. Or you can alternatively the iphone network settings to DHCP so that you do have to configure them manually each time they disappear.
