I am trying to get a PDF file with pictures and tables to open in Excel. The file was converted from a PDF to a text file with Acrobat Reader, and the file does not show proper output from the text file as a PDF when I open it in Excel. Please advise.Â

Problems with PDF file converted to text file
Hallo Butcher,
To open your file which is in the PDF format in excel, you will first need to convert it to an excel document using a PDF to excel converter software. Just Google for the excel to PDF converter online and then download the software and install it on your computer. Use it to convert the PDF file to an excel document so that you can be able to open it excel.
But since you are saying that your PDF document is composed of pictures and tables, I suspect it is not working in excel since it is meant to be a word document. I will advise that you convert it a word document using a PDF to word converter and see if the images and tables will be displayed well in ms word.

There is software named "PDF to ALL" which can be used to convert PDF files to any type of file.
-
A point that needs to be noted is it will convert PDF to anything but the result depends upon the formatting of the file you converted.Â
-
Example: If you convert PDF to .DOC file i.e. MS Word file the result will deepens on settings of MS Word, Version of MS Word etc.
