When viewing web pages that use scripts in Windows 7, the window’s active player and markers used by Windows Media audio files do not work. I do not have this problem viewing markers in XP or Vista. Has the ability to view markers been removed from the new version of Windows Media Player in Windows 7?

Problems in viewing scripts (Windows 7)
Hallo Ken,
I do not think the ability to view markers has been removed in the new version of windows media player in windows 7, in fact it has that and other added functionalities compared to its predecessors. There ay be some plugins that may be missing on your windows 7 operating system that are causing the problem to happen. You can just go to the media player and while connected to the internet, check for its updates so that it can search for the plugins online and install them.
Another thing you should try doing is run the windows updates so that it can check for missing plugins on the computer and install them as part of the windows updates.
