Process on Setting Up MMS Settings on Windows 7 Phone

Hello, 

Could anybody please tell me how to change MMS setting in a Windows 7 phone?

I have an unlocked Windows 7 phone.

But for changing my MMS setting I can only change the phone number of the particular operator’s SMS Center.

But My MMS is not delivered.  

What procedure should I follow now?

Process on Setting Up MMS Settings on Windows 7 Phone

Identify the correct xml file to edit i.e the one of your service provider.

Follow the following steps:

• Navigate to the app

• Dial ##634# and click OK to send ‘send button’.

• If password is asked, type 277634#*#

• And go to ‘factory menu’,choose ‘engineer menu’.

• Select  ‘other setting’ ,enable ‘ set ADC’( make sure its enabled)

• Go to ‘other setting’ dialog ,select ‘set network profile’ and at the bottom you will see a list of xml files.

 

Choose the correct file name as per your provider.

 

There you are.

 

Your MMS should be on now.

Hello,

Here's how to change your MMS settings on your Windows 7 Phone:

This is a "use at your own risk" method. You need to open MFG which is a hidden admin app on your phone.:

1. Go to your phone application.

2.Dial ##634# then send.

3. Type 277634#*# as a password when prompted.

4. When you're now on Factory Menu, choose Engineer Menu.

5. Select Other Setting.

6. You must verify that Set ADC is set to enable.

7. From Other Setting, select Set Network profile.

8. At the bottom half of the window, you'll see a list of *.xml files. This is to be the network configuration files.

9. Select your "guessed" provider at the file names for configuration files.

10. After choosing an *.xml file, your MMS should be working.
