Product License for IBM Lotus Notes

Hi Experts,

Can anyone help me to get a product license for IBM Lotus Notes 8?

I got the below error when I started using Notes and Domino 8 -GOLD recently.

One of my friends told that there is a problem with the registry. Is that so? Do I need to re-install it?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Error: “IBM Lotus Notes does not have a production license. A temporary evaluation license has been enrolled for you to use for 60 days.”

Product License for IBM Lotus Notes

Hi dear,

This error is commonly occurs when your are installing multiple client versions or servers on to  a single machine,  registry is modifying  manually, or even trying to get Notes 8 working on a stick. In most forums and debates it has been discussed that the best practice is that which  IBM recommends one,  Notes Client per machine and not modifying your registry illegally and  Reinstalling the software will make the error go away,

Product License for IBM Lotus Notes

Hello Jennifer,

It looks like you are having a problem with the product license for IBM lotus notes 8. This problem is likely to take place if you try to install more than one version of lotus notes to the same pc or if you have tried to modify your registry manually. Lotus notes works fine in a pc with only one user and it is also suggested by IBM. In your log in, you can use the lotus notes but when someone else is logged on to your pc with his/her ID you can not work on your notes. As a solution IBM suggest to have one note client per pc and avoid editing your registry illegally.
