Hi,

While installing the Flash CS5 on Ubuntu (with Wine), this error message appears:

 

 

Program Error

 

The program Flask.exe has encountered a serious problem

and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenient.

 

This can be caused in the program or a deficiency in

Wine. You may want to check https://appdb.winehq.org/ for tips about

running this application.

 

If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been

reported yet, you can report it https://bugs.winehq.org/.

A Program Error Flash.exe has occurred

Hello Rydersalvadorr,

Adobe Flash CS5 doesn't run under wine and can't be installed by the usual means. There is though a workaround to run it under wine in Linux. You can find more info on the WineHQ website: Adobe Flash CS5.

You should have in mind that running Windows Software under Wine will not be as good as running them in their native system. There are many bugs, and display issues because there is no official version of Adobe Flash CS5 for Linux. I hope that this solves your issue.
