Hi, I work in an office and my boss s technically challenged. He asked me information on how to decide between a t1 and cable. The most important criterion for us is speed, so can anyone give me a proper comparision of t1 speed vs cable speed?

Proper Comparision Of t1 Speed vs Cable Speed.

In terms of speed, I would suggest that a cable connection can not match a T1 line, for the main reason that a T1 line is dedicated and cable is not. What it means is that many users share the same line, and all of them use the same cable.

Also, if you have a T1 line, you get a service level agreement. It will ensure that you have a good bandwidth and will help to reduce lag time, thus ensuring a faster transfer of information.

Also, T1 is more reliable so it’s better for a business.
