My children demanded me to protect their short English text E-book to restrict other users. What option is used to protect a file in PDF?

Protect short English text for children

Hi,

To protect your PDF files to restrict other user, set security password using Acrobat Reader version 9.0.

To set password:

• Go to File, click Document Security
• Wait to prompt Document Security window
• In Security Options, choose Acrobat Standard Security
• Standard Security window will appear
• Check the box for "Password Required to Open Document" and "Password Required to Change Permission and Passwords", then enter the User and Master Password
• Choose the Encryption Level either 40-bit or 128-bit.
• Check the boxes you want to encrypt
• Click OK, when you submitted all security settings
