Purchase of a new modem increased speed

I recently purchase a new modem for my internet. I know that the internet speed is provided by the respective ISP but I suddenly notice that my speed has significantly changed. Is it true that another modem can help to change the internet speed? I have and ADSL connection, does that have any effect?

Yes, it is true that when you use better and high-quality modems, the internet speed will increase. The speed of the internet depends on the frequency of the modems. Costly modems have larger bandwidth as compared to the cheaper modems. Your “ADSL” connection will also be affected by changing a modem. The speed of the internet will be changed according to the modem you use.
