Query Too Complex Error on MS Access
Hi Bellaross,
The problem that you might be encountering is the allowable kilobyte segment. Access require that queries made must be complied within the 64 kb segment. When running reports they create temporary queries and are then combined which should not exceed the 64kb limit.
You can try to shorten the table names, etch, remove the fields that you do not need on the report. Avoid or remove stacked query object. You can also use instead small reports then just combine them into one major report.
You can also build a temporary table and update it with the required fields for your report and make a simple query from there.
