Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem with Outlook, and I'm not sure what the cause is. I created a new folder underneath my "inbox" folder. However, whenever I try to drag a message into that new folder, the message disappears.
It's a little weird. I've checked my message rules and that doesn't seem to be the problem. It's like a black hole. Anything I put into the folder just disappears, and the folder remains empty.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

MS-Outlook: Cannot drag messages on new folder
You have to delete that folder first, then create a different folder. Name the folder for identification. You can even try naming it 'Test Folder'. Then try to click and drag an email message to the folder. It usually makes a difference. Good luck!
MS-Outlook: Cannot drag messages on new folder
Maybe you also created another folder besides the one you created beneath the inbox folder. It is possible that instead of dragging the message on to that folder the message went to some other folder.
Try checking all the available folders in Microsoft Outlook. If you really can not find any of those messages in any folders there, create a backup of all your messages. Uninstall Microsoft Outlook then install it back.
This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will also restore its settings back to default. Restore your backed up messages to the newly installed application.
Try doing it again, drag a message on to one of the folders and see if the message will still vanish.
Try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application when checking the system. It is possible that an error in the file system is causing this malfunction on your application.
