Hi,
While I was using the Quickbooks application, it stopped working and displayed the error message below. I am wondering what might be the cause of this error message. I do not remember changing any settings on my application.
Please help me fix this error. Thanks a lot.

Quick Books encountered a network problem
Hi,
Have you recently made any changes on your computer?
Have you recently used any third party registry fixes or updates?
It could be a virus, so run a Malware/virus scan on your computer. You can run it online or by using a software.Â
Please select the link of your choice.
If the issue remains, try running your computer in safe mode. To do that, follow these steps:
Reboot your computer then press F8 and select the 'safe mode' from Windows Advanced Options menu.
You could also try a 'clean boot' to make sure that this issue is not caused by a conflicting background program. To do this:
Click the start button ; then in the search box, type msconfig ; then Enter. In General Tab, just click Selective start-up ; in selective startup clear the load startup items check box.
Also, in the services tab, select Hide all Microsoft services and disable all. Finally, restart your computer.
Quick Books encountered a network problem
Hello Jean,
Based on the description that you have given, you may be getting that error for quite several reasons:
-
The issue might be caused by some application that you installed on your PC.
-
That kind of issue occurs when the format of an argument fails to meet the parameter specifications of the invoked method.
-
However, to focus on the possible cause of corrupted .NET Framework, you will need to try the Verification tool to verify .NET Frameworks on your machine.
-
If it has issues, you will need to perform a windows update so that the latest version of the .NET Framework will be downloaded and installed.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Carl
