Compare terminal services vs Citrix. Are terminal services enough for the remote desktop or do I need the Citrix instead? What is the difference between the terminal services and Citrix?

A Quick Comparison – Terminal Services VS Citrix

Major differences between Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Services are:

• You can access the web in Citrix but to access web applications in Microsoft Terminal Services, you need to install some add-ons.

• Microsoft Terminal Services has no capability to publish the application to a user’s desktop whereas Citrix authorizes you to do so.

• Microsoft Terminal Services doesn’t provide you the facility to switch to other network and the user session limitations, but Citrix does.
