R studio network edition fails to recognize network drive

Hello,

I have a NTFS drive running but r studio network edition does not recognize it. I get the error message – "Error in setwd("R:/") : cannot change working directory". Windows file explorer can access the drive with no problem.

Hi there Katherine T Reilly,

 

I could really use a bit more information about your problem, such as where the R is installed and some error logs. However, the most common thing that cause the error you're getting is the lack of permissions. 

 

Try running the R as the Administrator. Another thing to do is to try to reinstall R from the default Program Files directory into the root of the drive (I.e. C:).
