I just wish to know if anyone can tell me about windows 8 dual boot ubuntu. I would be glad to know that someone has an answer to my question.

If your PC comes along with 64-bit Windows 8 available, then you will require booting Ubuntu using the secure boot choice. Alternatively, when you are present at the menu of booting, select to boot the drive as a secure system. Then you could install Ubuntu. Most importantly, when you install, you must reboot after that by using the disk and then perform a boot repair.

Another option is that you can boot the drive in a normal way, run an install, and then reboot after installing and then execute a boot repair. It was the option which was of help to me.
