Realtek High Definition Audio Driver error

Hi there,

I downloaded the latest version for my audio hardware and I have this error. I don’t know why is saying that I need the latest version since this is the only one that I found it. Can anyone help me to fix this? You know any other ways to download the latest version of drivers?

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver error

The problem here is that, even if it is indeed the latest driver for your soundcard, it may not still be compatible with your operating system because you are using a modern operating system, Microsoft Windows 8. And if you are not aware, not all programs and drivers have support for this operating system yet.

So if the driver you installed doesn’t work on your computer then it is obvious that your soundcard doesn’t have the latest driver compatible with Microsoft Windows 8. But anyway, after checking, I learned that your soundcard’s official website has indeed released latest drivers for Realtek High Definition Audio that supports Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 both x86 and x64.

Try downloading your soundcard’s driver from Realtek High Definition Audio Codecs. Make sure you download the correct version for your computer.
