The Reason Behind RAM Performance Trouble

My computer uses 2GB RAM. In the first year that I'm using my computer, its performance is satisfactory. Nowadays, it seems that my computer performing slowly than before. Is the RAM the reason why my computer performing slowly? Is it recommended to upgrade my RAM to 4GB in order to perform my computer satisfactorily?

Still, you use 2GB RAM if you really want to high speed so you buy direct 4GB RAM and use properly. Otherwise, if you just simply upgrade 2GB+2GB=4GB.It doesn't work properly.And again slow and slow.So I order you, you buy new 4GB RAM and set up your computer and enjoy super fast for random use.
