Reasons To Convert OST To PST Format.

I have been told by a few people that it is necessary to convert OST to PST. Is it necessary? If yes, please give me two valid reasons.

Reasons To Convert OST To PST Format.

You will encounter few situations when specific mail items become inaccessible. In such cases, you will need to do this. I can give you three reasons for this;

1) The MS-Exchange server can crash unexpectedly due to power failure, virus, etc. After a crash, you will not be able to connect to the MS-Exchange server.

2) Converting OST to PST can help you recover data even after the user mailbox is accidentally deleted.

3) Converting can also help you to migrate data from one place to another. This is helpful when you want to transfer data to another system.
