Hi Denver Howell,

Well, it is probably caused by a corruption in one of your system or windows file, or for some, a conflict in one of your application like your antivirus; sometimes, it messes up or conflicts with Windows Bitdefender. Another one could be memory usage, using too much memory could sometimes prompt the computer to shut itself down. Besides all of these, a system failure could also cause the problem; a feature in your bios restarts your computer if ever it experiences some kind of system failure.

I suggest you access Windows through safe mode, and then have a full scan to your system. That way you can somehow find out the problem.

Hi Denver Howell,

From what I can see , your problem is quite a common one , which makes the solution harder for you. Basically it can be from a million reasons , starting from your antivirus to your cooling fan.I can't exactly make a wall of text with each and everyone of them , it would take a lot of time for you to read it so I'll just tell you the most common ones I have found.

First of all , your antivirus. There are some antiviruses like AVG which are damaging to your PC , you need to uninstall it, and search of a better one , or you can just live without it as long as you don't download suspicious software or files , it's entirely up to you.

Second , the drivers of your softwares might be too old , like your daemon tools , alcohol 120% , or Realtek LAN driver. You need to check everything for newer updates and do them.If you have a lot of programs and drivers I would suggest you format your OS and start over , it's your choice.

Another common problem is a spyware or malware doing nasty things to your PC making it crash. In this case , you have to download a program like Ccleaner to swipe your PC and then download an antivirus like Avast or Avira or Norton , whichever you want and do a full system check. You might be surprised of what you can find.

Everything I explained is software related , but if you have a hardware problem with your cooling fan , then it gets complicated. You need to download a software that checks the heating temperature of your processor and see if it gets overheated because if it does , then your PC will automatically shut itself down in order to cool off. The solution for this is replacing your cooling fan , or your processor , or just take out a little bit of RAM , but that one isn't good for anyone.

Well , I hope this helps you with your problem and solves it.
