Hi. I'm stuck in reboot loop after running Sysprep in Windows 7 64 bit. That problem just popped out when I installed Avira antivirus 2013. Is this a compatibility issue? Anyone having the same problem with sysprep Windows 7 Avira? Any feedback and suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Reboot loop with Sysprep Windows 7 Avira
Hi Horace,
You have installed Avira 2013 on Windows 7 which is perfectly compatible. But the main problem here is if you run sysprep, the system does not start anymore. The main cause behind this is sysprep does tries to access program directory of Avira product and avira does not allow this. So before running sysprep you must disable file protection.
Afterwards, when the system is managed via SMC, the option can be activated again.
Thank You.

Hi Perry,
I read your question, You installed Avira antivirus 2013 as well as sysprep. But you can use Microsoft security essential for windows 7, that is a great utility for windows 7.
