Recover ods files using calc recovery?

Hello, I have MacBook Pro running lion OSX, I use open office for Mac and it happened once when the system crashed and I had to restart to find that most recent ods files were corrupted and can’t open, I know it’s hard to use calc recover with damaged file due to sudden shutdown, but I still want to give a try, how to recover ods files using calc recovery?

Hi Ava Larry,

It seems that you are having a problem locating the files, try not to open the files inside the office program, i mean, do the other way around, find the file that you want to open and double hit it or right click and tap open, the file will be opened and will successfully be, now if the file is critically damaged, I am unfortunately tell you that, once the file is corrupted, there is no way of getting it back in shape 100%.
