Dear Friends, I am having a 1 GB SD card that I have been using for few months, but recently after formatting it, it's  showing up as being 40 MB. Will recovery SD Card capacity possible, if so how ?

Hello David,

 

Before recovering your Data on the SD Card you need to turn back it in to a 1 GB. For that here is what you need to do. Go to the below link and download the SD Formatter and reformat your SD card using this Software.
And then use good recovery software to recover your lost data. What I recommend to you is use Zero Assumption Recovery Software. I’ll give you the download link it is freely available and also shows how to use this software.
 
  • Install ZAR to your computer and open it.
  • Insert your SD Card to the card reader.
  • If popup comes select Image Recovery Free option.
  • Carefully select your disk in the list because it also contains your Disk Partitions in your Computer and click next.
  • Wait for a few seconds until it analyzes your memory card and check root to save all the images. Click Next.
  • Select a destination folder to save the recovered files and click next and it will save all the recovered images to the specified folder.
