Redistributable Setup error: Requirements mismatch

Hello,

I am running Windows XP SP2 64bit Operating System and last week I have downloaded Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. Now I am getting the following error message when I try to run the Setup. Is this the problem with compatibility or anything else? I am waiting for your reply to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Hi Susan,
This is a compatibility issue with your WindowsXP SP2 x64 OS.
The minimum system requirements for installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable are:
Windows XP with SP3 (except Starter edition) / Windows Vista with SP2 / Windows 7 / Windows Server 2003 with SP2 / Windows Server 2003 R2 / Windows Server 2008 with SP2 / Windows Server 2008 R2900MHz or faster processor128MB RAM25MB available hard disk memory
Hence, install the software on a compatible OS.
