I was rebooting the system with Windows XP and faced the Microsoft error 0x80070002 on my computer. I am trying to resolve the error and need your help. What is the cause and fix to the error?

Remedy To Microsoft Error 0x80070002 On Windows XP.

The error can occur when the default security provider in the OS has changed or the drive letter of the system has changed. To work around the error, you need to reinstall Windows XP. You can use the repair CD to repair the installation of Windows XP.  Use Ghost or Use Drive Image Pro. After reinstalling, try rebooting the system and see if the problem is resolved.
