Guys,
I have been seeing a number of my friends for quite some time now using their mobile phones as a remote control for their TVs. Is that even possible?
I’m really ashamed to ask them directly since I have been stuck in the old technology age where everything was quaint and simple. Is there any software or application that can make that happen?
If there is, can you help me out? I’d really appreciate it.

Remote Control for Mobile Phone
Actually I haven’t found any mobile application that directly works as a remote control for a television. Well, as far as the technology is concern, I think IR was used as the gateway to control the television via remote. Some mobile phones has this IR features, meaning, the technology is possible.
In real experience, remote control for mobile phones especially APPLE IPOD PHONES, uses the WiFi technology to control remotely the television. The television should be connected to your WiFi network the same network with your IPHONE. These applications are available widely on the internet. There are free mobile applications and OEM applications.

Remote Control for Mobile Phone
Â
Mobile phone can be used for television remote controller. In these days technology goes too far so we can live our life much easier. Some china phone has that quality for use as remote control. It is a built in function for them. But for other phones there are some software’s to use mobile phone as a remote control.

This software is only for those mobile phones whose have full support of java script. And also have to be a smart phone that means an embedded controller chipset. Software can be found many websites such as
https://www.getjar.com/. Only java script supported mobile can do this job.
