Remote desktop black screen and not visible user

Hello everyone,

Remote desktop black screen and not visible user or password slots but can log in, only visible is the head of the connection box  (windows server 2003 enterprises edition) and white cursor blinking on the password line but it is not visible, if i type my password in it connect, but cant see the log in box .

Anyone can help me to fix this problem? Help.

Hi, Thanks for ask this question to Techyv. This issue is really unexpected and unknown problem.

• Here you did not mention that the server attached with your local LAN or it is connected to another place in the world. If it is outside of your LAN, then there is a reason for black screen. If Internet speed is slow then you can see Black Screen from your computer.
• I think that your server attached with your local LAN then please update all hotfix which Microsoft released till today. Also please check below KB articles.

• Sometimes it can happen that a minor problem occurs with user error or something changes with the registry. If so then please use registry editor software version 5.00. You can download it from below link.
• https://sourceforge.net/projects/regeditpe/
• Here I attached a registry script file for correct the color code in the registry.
• Please save this file to your server desktop. Then right click this file and click rename and replace the file extension txt to reg. then right click this file and click Merge.
• After that please restart your server and try to login from remote computer.
