I have a database of contacts in Excel sheet. Much duplication of numbers exists in the list. I want to remove the duplicate of any number from the list. Guide me how I remove duplicate numbers from the list of database?
Remove duplicated items from MS Excel
In Microsoft Office Excel, if you have a worksheet that has duplicate numbers and you want to remove them, here’s how to do it. First, select the cells you want to check for duplicates. Next, go to “Home” tab then click “Conditional Formatting,” “Highlight Cells Rules” then “Duplicate Values.” In “values with” box, select the formatting you want to apply to the duplicate values then click “OK.”
Next up is to remove the duplicates. Select the cells that have duplicate values you want to remove. Next, go to “Data” tab then click “Remove Duplicates” and then under “Columns,” check or uncheck the columns where you want to remove the duplicates then click “OK.”
