Remove password hint option in XP service pack-2.
-
There is no way she can remove the login hint because it’s meant to help in case she forgets her password, hence she has one option of changing her password and her password hint.
-
She must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If her computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent her from completing this procedure.
-
She has to Open User Accounts in Control Panel. On the Users tab, click the name of the user whose password she wants to change, and then click Reset Password. In New password and Confirm new password, type the new password, and then click OK.
Note:Now on the hint it is important to keep in mind that anyone who uses the computer will be able to see the hint on the welcome screen, so keep your hint vague enough that other people cannot guess your password.
Remove password hint option in XP service pack-2.
Hello dear,
It is very easy to remove this password hint.
You see, when you set a password, there are three text boxes that appear.
-
Type Password.
-
Confirm Password.
-
Password Hint.
When you write something in the “Password Hint” box, then this button will appear on the password screen.
I suggest that you do not write anything in this box.
Just fill the two boxes above it, then you will remove this Password Hint button.
Thanks.
