Removing of Acrobat Reader api files

I am using Adobe Acrobat reader 11.0 in my PC, I am clearing the unwanted file and backup files from the system, I found few Acrobat Reader api files inside the Reader folder, I am not aware of what api files is, can anyone make me understand what is api files, will removing of api files affect the Acrobat Reader in negative mode, Please guide me. Thanks

Removing of Acrobat Reader api files

Hi Young,

API files in Adobe Acrobat Reader are actually plugin files which help the Reader run properly. THe plugins are needed for smooth operation of the software. This obviously means the API files are essential for the Reader. I would recommend you not to delete them, as this would result in malfunction of the Reader. In addition, I am informing you that the files present in the main folder of an installed program are always needed by the program. So I would recommend you to take extreme precaution before deleting them.
