Hi.
I am currently working on some list using MS Excel 2007.
I would like to ask someone about this particular thing so that I could make my work much more easier.
I am going to do some edit by replacing all the same value into another.
Is there a way I could replace them all at the same time to lessen the hassle?
Replacing a value in MS Excel
Hi Ricarey,
To replace any value in M S Excel 2007 follow below steps:
(1) Go to File menu -> and select Find & Replace tab as indicated in below figure.
(2)After selecting Find & Replace tab -> select Replace , it will open up one dialog box as indicated in below image
In this dialog box you can replace whatever value you want to replace.
Thanks,
Sophia Taj.
Replacing a value in MS Excel
If you want an easier way, I think I have a few tricks to get you going. Follow these steps:
1. Press CTRL+F.
2. Click on the “Replace” Tab. Look for the “Find what:” text box and key-in the word that you want to replace.
3. Then look for “Replace with:” text box and key-in the text you want to replace the words in the latter.
4. After that click “Replace All” to replace the word similar to the one you want to replace or “Replace” to replace it one by one.
And you’re done. Hope this helps.
